Why Weaving Dreams

Weaving Dreams directly helps children and the families living the weaving communities. We also work to ensure the involvement of the factory owners. The benefits of investing in providing dignified living/ working conditions at their factories leads to productivity. Our projects are designed to benefit all participants for the long term.

We strive to be transparent. Your donation will cater to specific projects towards the factories or beneficiaries of your choice. We create projects and its cost based on the size of the factory or number of beneficiaries. The donation that you make is entirely spend on the project with a 5% administration fee for Weaving Dreams to run its day to day operations. We send you a project cost estimate followed by a project report upon the completion of the project. You will also receive timely follow up reports of the project you have supported. Our project empower women, uplift communities and engage with youth for positive changes in the industry. Every project we undertake, Weaving Dreams seeks equal support from the factory owners based in Nepal.  To bring about positive change, we believe, implementation and participation must come from an integral part within the industry.

The sponsorship programs helps children get access to quality education. When you educate a child, it is not only the child that benefits but also the family and its community. When weaving dreams starts its sponsorship program the parents need to provide an engaging, loving and stimulating environment for their children at home. Parents involvement and family environment are crucial for the child’s overall progress and growth and also gets children into schools. We also encourage sponsors to write to their sponsor-child. Kind words can go a long way. Your financial help in sending to the child means a great deal to the family however your words can have a lasting impact on the child’s future. Weaving Dreams regularly visit our partner schools to ensure that the children are learning at school.

Our day care projects helps children receive early childhood development otherwise deprived of. Although many understand the importance of ECD in early childhood, It it extremely hard for low income generating families in the city to send their children into daycare or preschools. Your investment in a day care facility would mean the empowerment of mothers to be more productive, a sibling would not miss school, and the child upon joining school are more likely not to dropout. Your contribution will not only be limited to help a community now but for generations to come. You can bring out the best future citizens of the world.
